Synopsis in English: Gerard Butler and Katherine Heigl star in a new battle of the sexes romantic comedy called The Ugly Truth. Katherine plays the romantically challenged morning show producer Abby, while Gerard plays the show’s guest commentator Mike Chadway, who is brought in to boost ratings.
Needless to say, they’re exact opposites. Abby is a play-by-the-rules kind of girl, while Mike throws caution to the wind and speaks the truth, no matter how much it hurts the person listening.
That’s why Abby’s co-workers pair her up with Mike to help her find the perfect guy for her. Abby has to learn to play by Mike’s rules, and not her own. She obliges, since she has nothing to lose. Does Abby find exactly what she’s looking for in a guy who is everything opposite of what she wants?
